31DC2013 Day 30 - a tutorial

Here is the nail art I did based on a tutorial. The tutorial was done by Chalkboard Nails, who does awesome work. The tutorial I did was for Beauty and the Beach. As you can see I mixed up the fingers, it was not done on purpose. I just started the white on my index and then went 'opps, oh well'.

I'm still happy with how they turned out.

31DC2013 Day 29 - the supernatural

I wasn't sure where to go this with one. I'm really not big on aliens and ghosts, So I went with these cute unicorn nails. Inspired but professionalDQ on youtube, she has some very colourful nail art tutorials and some cute unicorns.

31DC2013 Day 28 - a flag

The Union Jack. I have wanted to try this one for a while and finally had the chance when the One Direction movie came out. The other nails are also a first attempt, the waterfall mani. I first saw this done by The Nailasaurus, she even did a Monochromatic one based on a comment I left on her blog. :D

Bonus pic: my toes. I don't often do nail art on them, but I couldn't have One Direction inspired Union Jacks, without tribute to the cutest Irish member. 

31DC2013 Day 20 - water marble

I find water marbling hit or miss. Some of these nails are good some not so good.

I've got both hands featured again, the first pic is outside, with flash I think. It was in the spring so they looked super bright.

31DC2013 Day 18 - half moons

Dear Purple, I love you but why you hate nail art?!

I'm not trying to make excuses but the strings were perfectly white before topcoat and the balloons and a whole 'nother story!! They look good in these pics but the purple bled through terribly!!

This is another design I think I could do better and will do again in the future, birthdays?!

31DC2013 Day 17 - glitter

Soooo I have had avoided buying the 'fuzzy' top coats. They just didn't appeal to me, but last week I got this one from Hard Candy, I think it was the black and white that sucked me in. And the red, well I thought it was red in store, now I am pretty sure its pink.  I still like it. 

31DC2013 Day 16 - tribal print

Do these work?! Like the not good at delicate ones, there is no way that I could get the same print on each nail or the intricate-ness! 

I've always wanted to do the dream catcher and I think they turned out pretty good. I'd like to do them again in the future.

Nail stickers are not cheating, right?!

I don't think I would be able to do a free handed delicate print. I really don't use stickers very often, just sometimes when I am lazy. 

Sorry I was late posting the last few days,  I had the pictures I just didn't have them water marked. I do apologize, they next few days will be on time and the 'inspired by...' section will hopefully be on time too.

31DC2013 Day 14 - flowers

These might be considered a cheat but I really like them.

Cheating because, I painted them just for the pictures, didn't even topcoat! [I know the scandal!] They turned out really cool though, well I think they are cool.

I had a different manicure in mind also with zebra stripes buttttt I couldn't find the pictures. :( I know I've seen them recently but couldn't find the folder. 

Don't get me wrong these are cute too. This is two days in a row of both hands!

This was my first experience with stripping tape, naturally it was a 'try all the designs' work of art.

It's busy but still tasteful.

They were inspired by this tutorial by CutePolish on YouTube. So fun and soo easy!

31DC2013 Day 9 - rainbow

Rainbows!! I originally had another design planned out, until I found these ones!! I completely forgot I had done these!

Not much explaining to do for these, the pictures speak for themselves. rainbow dots, with a light blue [Cinderella but Sinful Colors] background...

Metallic, another style I don't do often, but managed to find these silver crackle nails.

31DC2013 Day 7 - black and white

 Day 7 - black and white, this is a design I actually wore not that long ago.
These pics are taken before clean up. Honestly, I am too lazy to clean up, it just pick off the messy-ness the next day. I never said I was professionally, nor do I pretend to be!
Anyway I really liked how these turned out, black and white look so classy!

31DC2013 Day 6 - violet

Day 6, violet nails.

Purple is a colour I like and wear often, but these were the only ones I was able to find in the archives.

31DC2013 Day 5 - blue

Two days in a row of flakies, but the silly thing is I don't think I have worn flakies much since then!

So day 5 is blue, I've done blue french tips! But look at those colours...

Here are my day 4, green nails. Simple green with flakies and white moustache.
